OUR PROCESS

Our Design and Build is not about testing the waters – we swim the ocean.

Silk covers the design, build and the project's management. Our aim is to provide you with a complete, high quality, innovative solution. We will take you to the finish line. Our defined process is built upon years of knowledge and learning. Our in-house services allow these to be achieved effectively.

CONCEPT

The concept is all about getting your vision right. Through stages of site analysis and combining your brief with the proposed site, we established a concept which works for your visual and functional purpose. Each space needs a customised solution. We incorporate the objectives, constraints, opportunities and key compliance considerations to give an honest tone of your future build.

DESIGN

This phase develops all the formal documentation needed prior to building. All the permits, consents, final designs are architected as work through drawings in accordance with Building Code of Australia for the documentation. Alongside, we work on 3D visualisations and rendering to show you an honest representation of your space. Each material, finishing, colour, fixture is deliberately worked through.

COMPLETION

The construction and building are overlooked by our project managers, coordinating with all contractors so they become your single point of contact. The project managers skilfully manage the time, budget and the team. Our sites follow Work Health and Safety and the National Construction Code. Once your project is built, we follow through with final inspections and documentations. We stand-by until the final point, where you're ready to utilise your space.
